Human Vision"

Artist Mike Dubisch has
been making waves in the world of H.P.Lovecraft's Cthulhu Mythos
fandom for the last few years. His art was featured at the H.P.Lovecraft
Film Festivals in
Portland Oregon and Los Angeles. His drawings and paintings of
dark fantasy have
appeared in numerous publications for Star Wars, Dungeons &
Dragons, IDW, and
Aliens VS Predator. His painting for Mythos magazine "Strange
Aeons" Holiday issue
was chosen for inclusion in the Frank Frazetta Tribute Exhibition
in March, honoring
the late grand master of fantasy illustration.
A comic book professional since the age of 16, Mike has very
solid roots in the horror and
fantasy genres. In the late 80s he worked on Fantaco's legendary
horror anthology,
"Gore Shriek" alongside Steve Bissette. He was an honors
graduate of New York's School
of Visual Arts and the impressive roster of artists he has studied
under and worked with
includes names like Will Eisner, Walt Simonson, Juan Gonzalez,
Joseph Michael Linsner,
and Barry Windsor-Smith. Mike Dubisch's artwork has graced album
covers, book covers,
comic books, and magazines. His paintings and ink work capture
a bold freshness to a
classic style, allowing him to carve his own niche among the
greats. |
