Kat Philbin's artwork has been
described as cute, quirky, and
wonderful. She is the sister of Hyaena favorite Big Tasty,
and is a graduate of Missouri State University with a B.S.
in Fashion Design. Kat's illustrations are a combination of
Edward Gorey's aesthetic and Shel Silverstein's perspective
which hold up well against the artwork of the timeless books
we've loved since childhood. There is a perfect balance
of sweetness and the sublime in her art that fuses charm
with a memorable dark humor. There is a twisted fable
injected into every piece with a story that is just dying to
be told. |
