Here There Be Monsters
A Group Art Exhibit

"When I was a kid, monsters made me feel that I could fit somewhere, even if it was an imaginary place where the grotesque and the abnormal were celebrated and accepted.” Reading Guillermo del Toro’s comments on the importance of monsters, I find truths that are probably relatable to most outsiders and creatives. There is a beautiful wisdom to his words which has been in the back of my mind for some time, and has inspired this art exhibit. For October, we’ve asked a wonderful group of artists to join us in celebrating monsters…from familiar creatures to various artists’ own creations, classic monsters and new beasts, internal terrors or the horrors in front of us…let them all materialize.
